Job Summary: The Business Intelligence Analyst's role is to design and implement business intelligence software and systems, including integration with databases and data warehouses for the LTCS Division. This includes selecting, blueprinting, gathering requirements, designing and rolling out BI solutions to end users. The Business Intelligence Specialist is also responsible for ensuring high levels of BI availability through support functions and in-depth testing.

Common activities include the requirements gathering from end users, creation of data source connections within corporate guidelines, the development of reports and dashboards, testing, and user training.


Basic Qualifications: 1. Bachelor degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field 2. Experience with Business Intelligence Tools 3. Ability to think logically, critically and constructively about complex problems and evaluate/develop proposed solutions that address expressed needs 4. Possess outstanding oral and written communication skills, including the ability to address both technical and non-technical audiences 5. Ability to operate effectively either independently or in teams, making progress on tasks while dealing with potential process and project ambiguity 6. Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment subject to specific deadlines which must be met. 7. Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook 8. Be a self-starter with excellent organizational skills in planning and organizing to handle multiple tasks concurrently. 9. Acceptable attendance and prior work record Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience with Microsoft Reporting Services, SharePoint Dashboards, or similar products 2. Direct work experience as a project manager that includes managing implementations of complex projects 3. Experience with lean tools and concepts
